At the end of every routine session, we’ll provide a fluoride foam treatment, which helps strengthen teeth! As your child grows older, we can apply a dental sealant directly to teeth, to add an extra layer of protection from bacteria. With Dr. Handshuh’s help, your child will get the dental care they need to keep their teeth healthy!

During each examination, Dr. Handshuh will gently check for cavities or any further problems. If we do spot an area of decay, it’s not the end of the world! We’ll treat the area with a filling so that your child’s smile can appear intact once more. We have realistic looking fillings available so that our treatment can blend into the tooth. Our children’s dentistry team will conclude with education about how to properly take care of your child’s mouths to help prevent a cavity in the future. We know that kids can forget from time to time, so we have no problem with refreshing their knowledge!
